Description

Did you know that there are over 60 huts in Colorado’s backcountry for users to use throughout the entire year! To access many of these huts, requires the user to hike into during the summer, or snowshoe/ski to in the winter. However the beauty of visiting a hut in the winter come from the remoteness and rustic feel, that takes you into the backcountry for solitude and quietness.

You will spend 4 days and 3 nights at one of our designated hut locations, Led by a professional AMGA ski guide to help mitigate risk for you, so you can focus on fresh powder turns and having fun! Hut trips offer the thrill of backcountry riding, right at your fingertips with the comfort of a warm fire to end the day.

Meals can be provided for an additional cost of $130, dietary restrictions can be accommodated for an additional $20. Our partners at Forward Exploration will provide meals with a variety of dehydrated foods that only require hot water. 3 breakfasts, 4 lunches, and 3 dinners are included. Examples include Pad Thai, Chicken Curry, Beef Stroganoff, Alfredo, Green Chili Mac and Cheese, and more!

This trip is designed for beginners to seasoned riders. Minimum backcountry skiing/splitboarding experience required.
